Information about Fees and Scholarships for the ESES Master Programs

The following information is applicable only to students who are applying to Dalarna University from non-EU/EEA countries and who are not applying through an approved exchange program. Citizens of EU/EEA countries are not required to pay tuition fees for university studies in Sweden. 

 

Tuition Fees

In addition to paying an application fee (900 SEK), students applying from non-EU/EEA countries are required to pay tuition fees for the Solar Energy Program.

Total Program Tuition Fee (One-Year Program) 132 000 sek
Total Program Tuition Fee (Two-Year Program) 264 000 sek
Total Per Semester 66 000 sek

Tuition fees are paid in one-semester installments.

  • The first payment of 66 000 SEK must be paid no later than June 1st.This allows for reasonable processing time for a residence permit application.

Scholarships

There are a number of scholarships available for successful applicants to the Solar Energy Engineering Program who are applying from non-EU/EEA countries.

 

Value of Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded with a value between 25-50% of tuition fees for one year (60 credits). Students who apply to the two year program can have their scholarships renewed for the second year subject to achieving acceptable academic results during their first year.
